Take a tour of Futureland and understand how it works

Introduction

Futureland is a software application that aims to provide a unified platform for the management of your daily routine and personal development. The software offers a range of functionality that is designed to help users form new habits, create structured daily routines, acquire new skills, maintain personal journals, improve sleep, and connect with a community of users. Futureland’s functionality is continually evolving with regular updates and new features being added to enhance the user experience every day.

In this document, we will give you a better understanding of how Futureland works.

The Futureland Interface

Overview of the interface layout

Futureland’s interface is split into two sections: the sidebar and the main area. The sidebar allows users to view and customize their daily routine, quickly publish journal entries, create new journals, navigate between journals, and search for journals. The main area, on the other hand, can display various content such as community posts, a full screen journal entry with comments, a specific journal, or a feed of the users own entries, known as the “Myself feed”.

The image illustrates the sidebar, outlined in green, and the primary workspace, outlined in yellow.

On mobile, the sidebar and the main area take up the full screen, and users can switch between views by either tapping the arrow or sliding the sidebar in and out with their thumb. Other than this, the interface functions identically on both mobile and desktop devices.
